Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Global Compact Network Lebanon held a humanistic approach panel in the presence of MP Mr. Michel Moussa, Mr. GhassanMoukheiber, Ms. Roueida El Hage , and Mrs. Marianne Hakim.

Mrs. Marianne Hakim talked about the rights of people with disabilities and their poor integration in educational institutions, public places and workplace in Lebanon.

During the ABLE summit 2019 held in American University of Beirut (AUB), where different universities join forces for better accessibility and inclusion in higher education, Marianne Hakim discussed her Specially Abled journey as a student in Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) that pushed her to co-found FALA and demand for inclusive education.
